Welcome to Salzburg - Austria

The famous Salzburg Castle

The equally famous "Getreidegasse"

"Getreidegasse": seems like New York... well... almost... ;)
This is the house where MOZART was born!

yum! nom nom nom... ;)
Did not dare eating it, but it actually smelled really good!

The Salzburg Dom

So romantic and "Austrian", love these stereotypes :)

This was a temporary exhibition. Inside there was a documentary about "The Sound of Music" since the movie was shot here in Salzburg and the family "Trapp" really lived in this city!

So the past week was really really difficult for me and my family since my dear grandmother passed away on May 19th.  Honestly, I simply wasn't in the mood for blogging at all.
I have spent every summer at my grandparents house and there are so many memories that keep coming up these past days... I will be going to Prague this Wednesday and hope that I, respectively my family and I can support my grandpa in this difficult time.
I wasn't sure if I should share these bad news on my blog, since I wanna keep it a positive place, but I figured that I want to keep it real and also share some sad experiences with you, which are part of life...

As mentioned above, I wasn't in the mood for taking photos of my outfits, but I have these lovely photos from my trip to Salzburg in the beginning of May which I wanted to share with you guys... You can find the specific descriptions below each photo.
Since I have lived in Salzburg from 2002-2006 it was nothing new for me, but I was too occupied with taking photos of the city for you guys, and ended up with only 2 outfit photos...  :)
I'll definitely make a separate post on the above outfit, since I really like it :)

Into The Field

Near our house, there is this huge field and it seemed like the perfect location to take some photos for my blog :)
I received this dress last year for my 22nd birthday from my sisters and did not have the chance to wear it too often since it seems too fancy for a shopping spree or uni ;) anyways I absolutely LOVE this dress (especially the neckline) and wore it the other day for a family dinner at a nice restaurant.

Do you see the deer on the last photo?! It looked so majestic!

Have a great weekend my dear readers!

What I wore:

Dress: Vila
Jacket: h&m
Shoes: Aldo

Hello my lovely readers!

How was your weekend? What did you do?!

If you follow me on twitter (http://twitter.com/#!/daily_lovemins) you might have heard/red already, that I spontaneously decided to go to Salzburg in Austria over the last weekend! I lived in Salzburg from 2002-2006 and finished high school there, hence I still have friends in this lovely city and it was great seeing them.
One of my favorite shops in Salzburg is the shoe shop called MIA. They have AMAZING shoes which range from low- to very high prices. Definitely go check it out in case you end up visiting Salzburg one day :)
I ended up buying three pairs of shoes! 2 of them were on sale, I simply could not resist :) As you see on the photos, they are all flats and pretty sporty!

The brown leather boots (Pic. No. 3 & 4) are super comfortable and perfect to wear now - in spring - through the summer and even until late autmn / early winter. They also look great with dresses or skirts!
The pink/coral sneakers are extremely comfy as well and will spice up my casual uni outfits!
Lastly I got these leopard sneakers which are great for spring and summer. I have never seen any similar shoes before, and I kind of like the "used look" and the faux fur. Yep, they simply swept me off my feet ;)

Which ones do you like the most?! Would love to hear your opinions :)

Brands
Boots: Buffalo
Coral Sneakers: ASH Clash, Sport Line SS11 Collection
Leopard Sneakers: ASH Santana, Sport Line SS11 Collection

PS: Happy Mother's Day!

Yummy Yummy Yummy!

When I was in Prague over Easter we had a family brunch in the Hotel Intercontinental on the top floor. It was a beautiful day and I believe that not many things can top the feeling you have while enjoying the wonderful view over the city, being with your loved one's, while eating amazingly TASTY food. (Did I ever mention that I LOVE and enjoy good food?!)  ;)
The whole atmosphere was simply perfect!!! So many dishes to choose from, so many desserts, live jazz music in the background...
I have pictured some of the dishes my family and I got and trust me, there was so much more to choose from, but I didn't dare to make more photos and look like I've never seen food in my life before  ;)

Prague is such an impressive city and I have realized that unfortunately I dont have any photos of  it at all. Next time I'll go there I might take you on a little "photo tour" through Prague. What do you guys think?!

Meet My Younger Sister :)

I'm back in Switzerland and finally have time to upload a new post.  Yay! :)
As you may have realised, this is NOT me on the above photos! I am more than excited to introduce you to my younger sister Saphira! She is 19 and equally loves fashion as my other sister and me.
Yes, we are 3 sisters and I couldn't wish for anything else! We get along very well and basically share our closets ;) Too bad we don't have the same shoe size!!!
I will introduce you to my older sister in a future post.

Saphira's white blazer is the same as my rose one in the previous post! Which one do you like better? I really can't decide hence it's more than convenient that I got the rose one and she the white!  ;)

What Saphira wore:

Blazer: h&m
Shorts: h&m
Shoes: don't know, but they were bought in New York last year!
Necklace: h&m
Sunglasses: Gucci
